When you receive a new work device, follow this checklist to get set up and ready to work.
Setup Checklist
- Sign in with your company Microsoft 365 account.
- Run Windows Update to install all available updates.
- Install required business applications (e.g. Microsoft Office, Teams, VPN client).
- Configure your email in Outlook.
- Connect to the company Wi-Fi or VPN.
- Enable BitLocker drive encryption for data protection.
- Set up OneDrive for file backup and sync.
- Test printing and access to shared network drives.
